Clients love big prints, but an 18-inch photo (e.g., 18×24″) demands extra care. Here’s your checklist before sending to print:
✅ – Aim for 300 DPI → 5400×7200 px (18×24″). ✅ File format – TIFF or highest quality JPEG (least compression). ✅ Sharpening – Apply output sharpening after resizing to final dimensions. ✅ Color space – AdobeRGB (or sRGB for online labs). ✅ Viewing distance – For an 18″ print, optimal viewing is ~2–3 feet. ✅ Test strip – Always print a small crop first to check color & detail.
