Way Of Corruption -v0.24-: By Shadow Blade
Kaelen had believed the Way would save him.
The first node on the talent web was easy: Siphon Vitality . Kaelen drained a dying mongrel and felt his own cracked ribs knit. No price. Just gain.

“You’re changing,” whispered Vesper, his only friend—a rogue who still carried a child’s hope. “Your eyes. They’re like holes in the world.” Kaelen had believed the Way would save him
Then even that thought was eaten.

Node Sixteen: Forfeit Identity. Cost: Everything. Reward: The Old King rises. No price
The Old King opened its eyes—Kaelen’s eyes—and smiled with a hundred stolen mouths.
The book flipped to a new page. One he’d never seen.
And the Shadow Blade walked on.
Node fifteen: Crown of Shadows . The final upgrade. Kaelen’s skin turned to living darkness. He could walk through sunlight now—not burned, but erasing the light around him. People forgot his name as soon as he left. He became a rumor, a curse, a hollow shape.
