: “Would it have changed anything? You’d have carried me faster? Left me slower?” They start running

(quietly, into a dead microphone): “And… that was the sound of no one listening. Signing off from the end of the world. Again.”

: “Last one to the car has to eat squirrel again.”

: “We go north. We find the cure. Or we find a reason to keep looking. Together.” Together

He pulls Phil up. Phil sways, bites down on the pain.
