“Sauda” (from Arabic sawda’ – blackness, or sauda – trade/bargain in Swahili/Hausa) evokes the darkness of aged leather, smoky resins, and the raw energy of the hunt. The Hunters Original edition (2023) is a limited, extrait-strength release: wild, untamed, with an animalic undercurrent. Opening with a sharp, saffron-laced pepper and labdanum bitterness, it moves into a smoldering heart of medicinal oud, spiced rose, and clove.
