"Who was that?" Scene 4: Ahmed Khan Mansion – Evening (Asad enters. His elder brother, Ayaan, hugs him. His grandmother, Badi Ammi, blesses him.)
"Who allowed her here?"
(She speeds up, blocks his car, and gets out. Asad steps out, looking annoyed.)
"Good. At least the knives know when to stop." Scene 2: Marriage Meeting – Zoya's Living Room (The groom, Sameer, and his mother sit stiffly on the sofa. Zoya serves tea.)
"Excuse me, do you know how to drive?"
"Maybe he met someone on the road today? He seems distracted."
"Your hunger did. I’m here for the food contract. But seeing you, I might lose my appetite."
"Watch your tongue."
"And the kitchen is that way. Stay out of it."
"Listen carefully. I don’t like loud, argumentative women."
(She closes the laptop.) (Asad is at a construction site. Zoya arrives for a catering order. They see each other from across the yard.)
"You rejected another rishta? Zoya, you’ll die an old maid."
(She walks past him. Asad watches her, conflicted.)
