"Is it safe?" Ryotsu asks, eyes sparkling.
"What?! Why?!"
Suddenly, a high-pitched whine fills the air. Everyone looks up to see a bright pink, inflatable UFO—complete with googly eyes—descending onto the street. It’s actually the newest creation of the perpetually bankrupt inventor, , from the "Miracle Science Club."
But then he sees a small, familiar yellow cap flutter down from Nakagawa’s pocket: that Nakagawa had been holding for the station’s communal pot. Kochikame Episode 42
Of course, the magnet is too strong. It yanks the entire suit—Nakagawa and all—toward the tower. Nakagawa slams into the side of the watchtower with a comical splat , deflating the suit like a sad balloon. He slides down the side, landing perfectly in a recycling bin full of old newspapers.
Ryotsu crumples the ticket, throws it on the ground, and stomps on it. "Stupid flying suit! Stupid pigeons! Stupid Nakagawa!"
Ryotsu climbs down, opens the bin, and finds a dazed, feather-covered Nakagawa holding up the lottery ticket. "Is it safe
Ryotsu’s tiny figure flying over the Tokyo skyline, his angry shouts fading into the sunset. The narrator (with deadpan humor) says: "And so, Kameari's most financially irresponsible officer became the first man to orbit the Kameari Shopping District. Twice."
Ryotsu wakes up, sees Nakagawa drifting past the second story of a department store, and grins. "What a stupid way to go. Oh well, time for tonkatsu ."
Before anyone can protest, the suit inflates uncontrollably, ballooning to three times its size. The engine sputters, and Noguchi is launched into a telephone pole. Dazed, he runs away, leaving the still-inflated, now-loose suit bouncing down the street. Nakagawa, ever the helpful straight man, tries to catch the runaway suit. But as he grabs a dangling strap, the engine revs to maximum, and the suit inflates around him like a giant pink marshmallow. Nakagawa’s legs lift off the ground. Everyone looks up to see a bright pink,
Just then, Noguchi returns, having fixed the suit’s remote control. "I've improved the stabilizers!" He presses a button. The discarded, crumpled lottery ticket—which was still stuck to the magnet—activates a backup battery in the suit. The suit inflates again , this time attaching itself to Ryotsu’s back.
With a roar, , still screaming obscenities, holding the worthless ticket.
Noguchi proudly announces his invention: It’s a bulky, inflatable vinyl suit with small ducted fans on the arms and legs, powered by a lawnmower engine strapped to the back.
