I - Land 2 Review

The debut lineup:

Following the massive success of I-LAND (which birthed ENHYPEN) and I-LAND 2: N/a (which formed izna), the landscape of survival shows has shifted. While the original I-LAND was a male-dominated affair under the joint venture of CJ ENM and HYBE, I-LAND 2 took a radically different turn. i - land 2

For now, I-LAND 2 remains a fascinating case study: a survival show that successfully debuted a talented group but struggled to escape the shadow of its predecessor. I-LAND 2: N/a is worth watching for fans of The Black Label’s production style and those interested in how Mnet adapted the format for a post-IZ*ONE, post-Kep1er world. The resulting group, izna, has potential but will need a stronger musical identity in their first comeback to truly distinguish themselves from the crowd of 5th-generation girl groups.
