Unless you're a die-hard fan of shallow, unoriginal romantic comedies, there's little reason to watch "The Love Machine." Even then, you might find yourself checking your phone halfway through.

The plot, if you can call it that, revolves around a successful radio host (played by an actor who seems to be trying out a Robert De Niro impression) who uses his on-air persona to seduce women, only to find himself falling for a free-spirited artist (think "quirky" with a capital Q). I must admit, I went into "The Love Machine" with fairly low expectations, and unfortunately, the film did little to surprise me.
