The game is fully complete – all original bosses, run-and-gun levels, the Mausoleum challenges, and the full soundtrack. Version 1.3.4 includes all the balancing tweaks and bug fixes from the post-launch patches, plus the additional DLC content (The Delicious Last Course) is integrated smoothly. Save files work without issues, and the game recognized my controller immediately.
Cuphead is still as brutally beautiful as ever. The 1930s rubberhose animation style isn’t just a gimmick – every frame looks hand-drawn and alive. The jazz and big band soundtrack is phenomenal. And the difficulty? Yes, it’s hard. But fair. Each boss has patterns you can learn, and the sense of relief after finally beating a level that’s killed you 50 times is unmatched.
