That is the gray zone. If you own the original arcade PCB or disc, you have a strong fair-use argument. If not, you are pirating.

But the biggest hurdle is always the same: Archive Org Download Teknoparrot Games Full

While many torrent sites are riddled with malware and dead links, the has become a surprisingly robust source for full, pre-configured TeknoParrot game dumps. That is the gray zone

TeknoParrot is a preservation tool. Many of these arcade cabinets cost $15,000+ and are physically disappearing. If you love the game, support the arcade industry by buying the home port when it eventually releases. Have you found a hidden gem on Archive.org that runs perfectly on TeknoParrot? Let me know in the comments below. But the biggest hurdle is always the same:

However, (e.g., Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown ), the Archive version will likely be removed quickly. Stick to obscure arcade exclusives like Luigi’s Mansion Arcade , Dream Raiders , or Transformers: Human Alliance . Final Verdict Is Archive.org safe for TeknoParrot games? Mostly yes. Stick to uploaders with high view counts and verified file hashes. Always scan downloaded .exe files with Windows Defender.

Downloading copyrighted arcade games (ROMs/ISOs) may violate copyright laws in your region. “Archive.org” hosts both public domain and copyrighted content. This incredible PC loader allows you to play modern arcade games (Namco, Sega, Taito, etc.) that were never officially ported to home consoles.

You get everything pre-configured. The bad: The loader included is usually 3 versions old. You should delete the included TeknoParrot and use the official up-to-date one.

So it’s billed as something for larger maps but wonderdraft is one of the best mapmaking tools I’ve used. period (and I’ve used all the ones listed above, and in the comments, with the exception of dungeonfog which I just haven’t had the time to try yet). It also does a pretty great job with cities, and I suggest you check out the wonderdraft reddit for some great examples if you need to quickly see some. I definitely recommend you look at it if you haven’t seen it already. Hope you all are doing great!

I still stick to Azgaar for general map generating. I can tweak a lot of specs and it generates even trade routes (which is really something I can’t really do well). Art wise it’s very basic, bit I still like it as basis and then go do something beautiful with it …

I personally think Azgaar is the best mapmaking tool ever created. However, it can’t do cities. I’m guessing he’s planning on it though. That guy is insane. There’s well over 100,000 lines of code in his GitHub repo.

I recently bought Atlas Architect on Steam. It’s a 3D hexagon based map maker that’s best for region or world maps but has city tile options. For terrain you left click to raise elevation and right click to lower. It’s pretty neat!
