The American Petroleum Institute (API) has developed a set of guidelines and standards for the petroleum and petrochemical industry, including API 521, which focuses on fire protection. This document provides detailed information on fire protection design, installation, and maintenance for facilities handling hydrocarbons and other flammable materials. In this essay, we will discuss the key aspects of API 521 and its significance in ensuring fire safety in the industry.
API 521 is a critical document in ensuring fire safety in the petroleum and petrochemical industry. By providing guidelines and recommendations for fire protection design, installation, and maintenance, the document helps facility operators, designers, and contractors to minimize fire risks and protect people and assets. With free PDF resources available online, accessing API 521 has become easier than ever. As the industry continues to evolve, the importance of API 521 will only continue to grow, making it an essential resource for anyone involved in fire safety in the petroleum and petrochemical industry. api 521 free pdf
Kali + Additional Tools + Vulnerable Applications in Docker containers...
A vulnerable VM that you will use to perform a full assessment (from reconnassaince to full compromise)
Another vulnerable VM that you will use to perform a full assessment (from reconnassaince to full compromise)
This video explains how to setup the virtual machines in your system using Virtual Box.
The diagram below shows the lab architecture with WebSploit Full version, Raven, and VTCSEC. The VMs were created in Virtual Box. It is highly recommended that you use Virtual Box. However, if you are familiar with different virtualization platforms, you should be able to run the VMs in VMWare Workstation Pro (Windows), VMWare Fusion (Mac), or vSphere Hypervisor (free ESXi server).
You should create a VM-only network to deploy your vulnerable VMs and perform several of the attacks using WebSploit (Kali Linux), as shown in the video above. You can configure a separate network interface in your WebSploit VM to connect to the rest of your network and subsequently the Internet. Preferably, that interface should be in NAT mode.
