What is EN 10204? EN 10204 is a European standard that specifies the different types of inspection documents supplied with metal products (e.g., plates, pipes, bars, forgings, castings). It defines who is responsible for the inspection and what information must be declared. The Type 2.2 Certificate: "Test Report" The Type 2.2 document is a Test Report . It is a non-binding declaration by the manufacturer stating that the products delivered meet the requirements of the purchase order. A Type 2.2 certificate is a useful record of what the manufacturer intended to supply , but it is not a proof of what they actually delivered . For critical applications, always upgrade to EN 10204 Type 3.1 or 3.2. |
